Paul First 1966 - 1967
While I was stationed at Ft Devens I was assigned to the Headquarters company under Col Ravino ( Not sure of the spelling).  Another soldier and my self, a Pvt Colter I believe was his name were assigned to Col Mullet to build a training center for the Red Diamond and then stay on staff there.  I have some of the construction pictures somewhere and I have been looking for them.  They gave us one road grader and a ford tractor and a jeep to do all the stuff that you guys played with there.  There were about 20 of us that worked on this site then got it ready to send the Red Diamond thru before they went to Viet Nam.  After almost 40 years my memory is a little foggy on it but I know we had fun in the woods scaring the hell out of these new recruits.  We built bunkers and used 1/4 # TNT charges for effect. Had machine guns with blanks,  all the little toys.

This is a picture of Col Millet. (He had won the Medal of Honor)

Lt in the HQ tent on site but I don't remember his name
