Bob Hope Christmas show at Udorn Air Base, December, 1967. Bob is thanking the base commander
for his gift of a traditional Thai chair. God bless him and all who came with him to entertain the troops.
Bob on stage with Raquel Welch. Mini-skirts and boots were definitely the hot item in those times.
Behind Bob, a parachute provides a shade canopy for the boys in the band.
Bob knew just who to invite along on his tours to entertain the troops.
If the acts were less than polished, who would notice or care?
Go-go Raquel!
Dancin' with Raquel. I bet they never forget that day! I don't know what the guy in the camo is doing.
He looks as though he's ready to pounce! I can't say I blame him!
Round eyes!! I had been here for less than two weeks when this picture was taken. But for those who had been here many months, it was a rare pleasure to see a Caucasian woman, a "round eye." It was a very welcome taste of the States for a little while.
