![]() These girls are selling a fruit called lychee. These look like our strawberries but they have a prickly outer covering. After pealing, the fruit inside appears much like a gooseberry and tastes a bit sweet. |
![]() The Cobra show was part of a medley of shows including the floating market, Thai silk, wood carvings, and Thai gemstones. Most of the time we were near the salt fields near Kanchanaburi about an hour west of Bangkok. |

![]() This photo is taken near Veera's home at Ban Chiang. Veera was a civilian employee during the Vietnma War and was also in the Gulf War. He now owns over 100 acres and has a very large herd of cattle. He is a territorial governor so to speak and is a wealthy man. Note the ladies in the black garb. They were ready to attend a funeral just a few yards from Veeras home. |
