7th RRFS

Most 05H's on Swingz during this period of time (Nov 75) will remember this party.
The trick chief SFC Jordan (Begger Bob) raffled his bike off to pay for the party.

This was my raffle ticket. Guess I didn't win. Granted it was at the post enlisted club, but it was also free.

Me 1975 enlisted club with a towel girl. For those who don't know/remember
what a towel girl was: The enlisted had Thai girls who would provide you with
a hot towel and a massage right in the middle of the club. (I think this was the
precursor to the lap dance. 8-)

I believe this was the old NCO club. However, when I was there in 1975 it was a craft shop.
(ED Note: I can attest to this being the old NCO club. Many a night I (vaguely) recall partaking
of fine cuisine, friendly atmosphere, and primary liquid fortification site in preparation for an all
nighter on the strip in Udorn. And..........it had air conditioning. )

Bravo companies gazebo.

My house girl at work.

The house girls of Bravo company-upstairs.

Cover of ASA's magazine. "Hallmark." Col. Howard lowering
the flag for the last time at the 7th RRFS.

How many times did we dodge one of these things?

Who does'nt remember the rain clouds rolling in during monsoon season? These are over the gym.

The operations building (the box) in 1976. By the way, that new building just outside the
gate to operations was a snack bar. I once got an ice cream with a lizard in it. uuummmmmm!!!

The pool at the station. I had to take the picture because there were people actually using it.
Must have been a bunch of "lifers." *-) I ended up doing 20 myself.

A shot of part of the admin area of the 7th. Bravo Co is on the right, the Gym is on the left,
softball fields in the background, and I'm told the building next to the gym was the education center.
But I didn't know anyone who went there. *-)

A shot from my barracks of the enlisted club with the FLR-9 in the background.

A shot of the FLR-9 from the dry rice paddies behind the village across the road from the 7th.

One of the many guard towers surrounding the 7th. Most were manned by Thai guards.
